International Banking - ECTS 4
Function and organization of markets and banks in an international context. Tools for financing businesses and how to manage the related risks.
The aim of the course is to understand the nature of costs and revenues and the balance sheet regarding international operations. The course will also deal with the specific characteristics concerning the financial statement in international operations, which will be contrasted to the Italian case.
 
Human Resource Management & International Business Organization - ECTS 4
This course offers training in managing human resources concerning international projects. Furthermore, the course deals with managing the re-organization of activities and the analysis of various organisational constraints regarding the company's behaviour.
 
International Marketing & Brand Management - ECTS 7
This course deals with management instruments concerning marketing on an international level. You will learn more about brand management and the image of the company regarding the different products/services. This course also focuses on managing brands at the international level from the perspective of manufacturers, nature and value of global brands, analysis and evaluation of the characteristics of a successful international brand.
 
International Business Law - ECTS 4
This course offers a review of the international legal system with particular reference to the economies that are of major importance to Italian companies. Herein, there will also be included a review of the contractual problems on an international level concerning the application of European Union directives regarding the relation between public administration and companies. Furthermore, this course presents different types of contracts, e.g. licensing contracts and franchising contracts relating to international joint ventures. In addition, aspects such as brand management and the protection of know-how and ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) are discussed.
 
Negotiation Techniques & Economic Information Analysis - ECTS 4
This course offers a review and a discussion of negotiation techniques concerning international transactions. Additionally, the course intends to enhance the students' familiarity with IT, especially regarding the most common software
 
International Business Strategy & International Entrepreneurship - ECTS 6
This course deals with the analysis of the competitive situation in international markets. The participants will learn about the instruments of strategic management on an international level. Furthermore, there will be a discussion about the internationalisation process of companies belonging to the new economy.
 
Industrial Economics - ECTS 4
This course deals with the analysis of constraints and possibilities concerning the internationalisation process in respect to the sector where the company is active.
 
International Economics - ECTS 4
This course deals with the internationalization process in various economies of the world, international trade and real integration issues.
 
International Finance - ECTS 4
This course offers a comparative analysis of international payment instruments and the role of the bank as a support in these transactions. In addition, this course deals with the financial management and the different financial instruments on an international scale.
 
Logistics & Operations Management - ECTS 5
This course offers a review on managing the flow of goods and services. Particular attention is drawn to customs operations, problems regarding transport and storing and the exchange of electronic data.
