Giulio Ecchia

Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna

In addition to being Professor of Economics, Prof. Ecchia is the MIEX Local Director at the University of Bologna and Course Coordinator of Industrial Economics. He is also the former Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Bologna, Forlì.

He received his M. Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford (UK); his P.h.D. in Economics from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy); and his B.S. in Economics from the University of Bologna (Italy).

He is the author of several articles and co-author of others, including: “Markets, Strategies and Institutions: an Introduction to Microeconomics” (2002) and “Choice, Markets and Equilibrium” co-author (1996).
