UFRGS Academic Semester Overview
UFRGS offers MIEX students a strong and focused semester on how to do business in Brazil, integrating cultural, geographical and economic aspects into the core courses. Other areas of focus include financial markets, innovation management, consumer behavior and business strategy. Students will also take part in company visits and be introduced to important industries that have a major impact on the Brazilian economy.

Triple Degree Track:
Academic semester + Master Thesis = ICN MSc + UFRGS MESTRADO ACADÊMICO EM ADMINISTRAÇÃO
ECUST Academic Semester Overview
Students are given insight into the Chinese business environment and legal structures. Special attention is placed on cultural context and history, as well as linguistic aspects, requiring a Chinese intensive language course for all students regardless of track choices. Elective Courses are chosen based on the student’s interest and the track chosen: Project Work or Master Track. MIEX students are also required to attend seminars, professional lectures, and company visits in order to gain further insight into Chinese industries and businesses.
MSc Standard Track:
Academic semester + Project Work = ICN MSc + ECUST Certificate
Triple Degree Track:
Academic semester + Master Thesis = ECUST MIB or MBA (see below)
- MSc in Business Administration: For recent graduates with limited or no work experience.
- MBA Master in Business Administration (an AMBA accredited degree): For graduates with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
ICN Business School Berlin Campus Academic Semester Overview
ICN business school Berlin is a new campus.
You will be able to specialize with: MSc IN MARKETING AND BRAND MANAGEMENT (This program will give you the strategic and creative skills to enhance an organization’s brand equity and implement effective marketing programs) or MSc IN FINANCE, INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT (This program is designed for students who want to work in both, the public and private financial / insurance sector, for example as risk and asset managers).
The Berlin option is available only as a triple degree track. More info will be available soon.
LA SALLE Academic Semester Overview
North American trade and commerce is studied to provide the contextual setting within which to analyze Mexican businesses and models for growth and development. Special focus is placed on international entrepreneurship and social responsibility in management practices.
Elective Courses are chosen based on the student’s interest and the track chosen: PW or MT. MIEX students are also taken on company visits to leading Mexican import/export companies with global implications in the financial sector and international customs. Students are also required to attend a series of conferences in the field of International Business.

Academic semester + Project Work = ICN MSc + La Salle Certificate
Triple Degree Track:
Academic semester + Master Thesis or Project Work = La Salle Maestria en Administraciòn de Negocios Internacionales (see below)
- Maestria en Administraciòn de Negocios Internacionales WITH Master Thesis under guidance of an academic tutor, written and discussed at La Salle.
- Maestria en Administraciòn de Negocios Internacionales WITH Project Work with report and discussion at La Salle.
MGIMO Academic Semester Overview
MIEX students who choose to go to MGIMO are presented with the global challenges facing the Russian Federation. Courses place theory and strategy in the context of Russian history and culture. Linguistic aspects are emphasized in understanding the local economy, requiring all students to take a Russian intensive language course. Development issues are also of pivotal focus in understanding the modern problems that face the country and its international relations.
